Follow your information
What you submit
The prompts, files, pasted text, instructions and matter details you choose to add. Uploaded files are converted to text for the work; the original file is not kept unless you choose to keep it in your library.
Where it is processed
Talden is hosted on Vercel with a Postgres database in the United States. Drafting and review use Anthropic’s Claude models. Dictation, spoken replies and reading scanned pages use OpenAI. Public research uses Perplexity, which receives the research question only, never your files, matter records or instructions.
Training
Talden does not train AI models on your content. The AI providers named above process content to return results under their own terms; we are confirming each provider’s data-retention terms and will publish them here.
Retention and deletion
Your matters, conversations and saved work stay in your private workspace until you delete them. Deleted items move to Trash and can then be permanently deleted. Trash is not secure erasure and does not remove copies you have already exported or sent. To close an account and remove its data, contact support. Contact support

Account access
Sign-in uses your password and a six-digit code sent to your email. You can sign out of every device from your settings. Each account is a private workspace; nothing is shared between customers.
Sources and review
Research cites its sources, and drafts show the sources, assumptions and open questions behind them. Talden’s internal checks do not confirm whether a case is still good law.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Talden does not store card numbers.
This website
When enabled, optional website measurement uses Google Tag Manager only after you select Analytics in Privacy choices. Those tags do not run inside the Talden app.
You make the final call
Talden does not replace professional judgment. The work it prepares shows its sources, assumptions and open questions so you can decide what to rely on.
